This is a standard, word based, UK Emergency Exit sign, these were legal until the early 1990s. After that we moved onto ISO and then EU ones, anyway history lesson over! Whats odd if that if you look at too different brands from the same era, as I've done' they are unrelated apart from the font, which seems odd since the font doesn't seem to exist! I suppose it IS possible that one screen-printer was supplying more than one metalwork factory, as there were a lot more smaller firms back then. It seems oddfully playful / unconventional for such a sober sign, especially the M and the R. All close matches get the G completely wrong. Also I can only find one font that treats the bottom of the E like that, and the rest is totally wrong. It might just be that I have to trace this as vector, no biggie. If the forum will let me I'll post the other sign and the original image just so you can see. Thanks in advance!

Thanks Alex, I think that is still a little bit too different and as my aim is only to reproduce what I already have, I think I will do a vector trace. Thanks for your time though :)
