Maybe or Unanswered
That 'A' is what's really wracking my brain. There's a few "similar" fonts (like Diamante, Bank Sans, or even Agency Bold), but none of them quite match up.

Unfortunately, it appears to be a custom typeface created for the show/franchise. (shown at the bottom: http://jonahbirns.com/portfolio/item/american-ninja-warrior/)
Might be possible to track down, but I haven't had any luck yet.
However, one of these fonts would require minimal tweaks to be extremely close: Diamante, Academy Sans, Prohibition, or something similar.
